How to prepare for a trip across the Mojave Desert

The Mojave Desert can be a brutal place as it is beautiful. To ensure your safety and best experience while voyaging through the desert, we recommend that you take certain precautions and steps to be prepared for anything that may happen.

Before your trip, we recommend that you check all your fluids and tire pressure. Make sure you don’t see anything out of the ordinary that may be troublesome in the future. Inspect your vehicle as you walk around.

Always take enough water with you. You don’t always know how long you may have to sit in the heat.
